I'm an 18 year customer of their sister store in Bayonne and have recently started coming to the Linden store. The service in the Bayonne store was always exceptional and I hope some of those workers will come here in the near future. The service is exceptional. They are also able to give "meat plans" that works well for everyone's budget. They have much better specialty cuts than in a Supermarket. They make sure they package various "bulk items' such as turkey wings and leg quarters in pre-made, ready to buy quantities, which works well for large families on a budget. I also have two large German Shepherds that need some quality meat in their diet and buying in bulk works well for me for them too. I am a meat enthusiast and I love slow cooked beef ribs and beef stews, beef soup from shin beef, and I also heavily into barbecue. I am also heavy into Korean style barbecue. The workers in the Bayonne store were terrific and really knew their customers. The two owners are phenomenal and real old fashioned butchers that really know how to work with meat and various cuts. I get a large order placed by calling the store, using one of their meat plans, and I get in and out very quickly, because I'm always under time pressure, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the meat, and the small local town butcher environment. I believe in supporting the local butchers and not the big chain stores. You get higher quality product and better service in my opinion. Highly recommend if you are on a budget and are a real meat lover.
This is a butcher shop kind of store, my bought bought from them for years and I still like to shop there. Good meat at fair prices. Quick service every time. They treat you well.
